Ok, my OLF brothers! We are around 90 votes shy of the lead, and we have until midnight tonight EST to put Jimmy out in front and keep him there! Do you best, that's all we can ask. We're this close because you guys decided to have fun with this, and take the competition to our Y chromosome furthest!

Go Jimmy! Go OLF voters!

Win one for the Gipper! We gotta fight fight fight!
Win Win Win! Leave everything out on the field!
Ok, wrong venue....you get the idea...

I managed to get in several votes this morning before heading off to the Daily Grind. I was able to vote once here, but that's all. Shh....I'm working! Really!

GO JIMMY !

Thanks Serge! I knew we could count on our Canadian friends.

I've managed to squeeze in another 5 so far today. I'll keep going as time permits. I havent shut down my computer, nor cleared my cookies this much in months!

I was just thinking...with over 5,000 votes for the two contenders, I wonder how many Cat Fanciers there actually are in the club. Wouldn't it be a bummer if they decided to disqualify Jimmy and the other cat for voting irregularities and give the prize to the 3rd place cat?

The truth is, the Cat Fanciers Association hasn't had this many web sote hits in one week ever...they're getting a lot of exposure that they are very happy about.
There are tons of cat-crazy people out there voting. There are several national/international groups for Maine Coons alone, let alone all the other breeds, and they're all voting and networking.
Our lop-eared Scottish Folds don't have quite that amount of recognition.
I told you Bruce was a highly-competetive person being an Olympics basketball player...he's really networking and going at this tooth and nail, as are the Maine Coon folks.

Thanks JJ!

We just pulled out in front !

We're in the home stretch! Jimmy grabbed the lead a little while ago, and now it's going to be a horse race to the finish...

Calling Serge & all Canadians especially! Vote for your fellow Canadian (cat) ! Tell your friends!

Here's a link to an article published today about Jimmy:

I've manage to get another 14 votes or so in, but couldn't get at the lab computers today. It's dead week, so the stations were tied up with students rushing to finish papers and presentations.

Woohoo!! We're more than 400 ahead! It's just after 9 AM in Japan right now. Maybe they can't stage a rally these last 4 hours if they're at work? Dunno. Let's hope!

The folks from Japan have started their run to overtake Jimmy...we must persist!
No time for words...must keep voting.

I got one more vote in by using another version of Netscape that I had forgotten I had. 500 ahead!

Well at 8:55pm Pacific time, Jimmy is at 3357 votes and Ice dive is at 2801 so, 556 votes ahead. I hope this ends soon, the suspense is killing me.

Supposed to finish at midnight, but what time zone? It's already midnight on the US east coast.

The CFA is based in New Jersey, so I would guess should be over.

Unbelievable. There's one more round of voting, from June 7 to 11.

Should be no problem unless the folks who didn't vote for Jimmy are mad and vote a different category Jimmy had at the least twice the votes of the cats in the other categories. Anway, I'm up for a few more votes.
